Recommended Points

The hotel is conveniently located just a 4-minute walk from Beppu Station, and you can enjoy various types of hot spring baths such as open-air baths, Jacuzzi baths, and saunas. This hotel is perfect for those who do a lot of sightseeing during the day and want to soak in the hot spring at night. Rooms are not only standard rooms such as single, twin, and double rooms, but also unusual rooms such as four-bed force and six-bed rooms. Families or groups of friends can stay in the same room. Most meals at hot spring resorts are kaiseki cuisine, but this hotel also has a buffet restaurant. Even if you have food that you like or dislike or are allergic to, you will be happy to be able to eat your fill of whatever you like. In addition, the cooking method called “jigoku-mushi” (steaming in hell) is used to steam the food, so the original flavor of the ingredients is concentrated in the food. During the nighttime hours from 9:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., when you may be a little hungry, there is a nighttime meal service called “Jigoku Meguri Yonaki Tantanmen (Nocturnal Noodles).
Inside the museum, there is a fair corner and a candy corner. You can feel the retro atmosphere and festive fun of Showa-era Japan here. On the same floor, there is also a massage corner, a ping-pong corner, and a game corner, providing entertainment that is typical of hot spring resorts.
In addition to the large hot spring bath, there is also an open-air bath and sauna. Please take your time to soak in the hot spring and rest your body.
Points to note

The open-air bath in the men’s bathhouse is closed for the time being for investigation and repair of the ceiling. It is not known when it will reopen, so if you are a man or traveling with a man, you should check to see if it is back in operation.
