I went to “Ryuan”, a yakiniku restaurant located a 1minute walk from Gion-Shijo Station in Kyoto.
Commitment to meat
There are 4 types of meat. “Kobe Beef”, “Matsusaka Beef”, “Omi Beef” and “Tamura Beef”. Tamura beef is not well known among Japanese people. However, the meat that the owner has been looking for for 50 years is “Tamura Beef”. We look for reliable producers and purchase and provide excellent quality meat.
You can have the meat as shabu-shabu or yakiniku. This time I had a yakiniku course, so I will introduce it.

Appetizer is assorted kimchi. There are many kinds such as namul, cucumber kimchi, Chinese cabbage kimchi. It’s nice to be able to eat a lot of each bite.
